FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
Feed LMF GENTLE BALANCE to mature pleasure horses at a rate of 3-8 pounds per day (for a 1000 pound horse). Vary intake of Gentle Balance based on activity, body weight and body condition of the horse. Feed along with good quality hay, free choice plain or iodized salt and fresh water.
For aggressive eaters, slowing the intake rate of pelleted feed is desirable. One way of accomplishing this is to dissolve the feed in warm water for 10 minutes prior to feeding. Rapid intake of any feed, without proper chewing may cause horse to choke.
