🐥 What is the Pre-Order Process?

At Country Junction Farm & Feed, we’re excited to offer pre-orders for our 2025 chick season! Here’s how it works:

1. Browse: You can now browse available breeds online with details about hatch dates and pickup locations.
2. Reserve Your Chicks: Add your selected chicks to your cart and pay at checkout to secure your reservation.
3. Pickup: Pick up your chicks at the selected store (Otis Orchards or Rathdrum) on the specified date.

Note: Pre-orders are pay-now, pickup later, ensuring your chicks are reserved for you when the season starts!

Important: If you’re ordering chicks from multiple pickup locations, please complete a separate checkout for each location. Our system currently supports one pickup location per transaction. Thank you for your understanding!

📅 Pre-Orders Are Open!

We’re thrilled to announce that pre-orders for the 2025 chick season are now live! February pickup dates are available, with March and beyond being listed soon. Stay tuned as we continue to update availability.

As a reminder, chicks arriving in future months will be listed one month before their hatch and pickup dates. For example, chicks arriving in March will be available for pre-order at the end of January. This allows us to provide the best possible service while adjusting as needed during this busy season. We appreciate your understanding and support!

🔄 Can I Make Special Orders?

For 2025, we will not be taking special orders for specific breeds. However, this doesn’t mean we won’t add new breeds during the season. Keep checking back for updates as we adjust to meet demand.

📍 Where Can I Pick Up My Chicks?

Pickups are available at both of our locations:

• Otis Orchards: 21518 E Gilbert Rd, Otis Orchards, WA 99027
• Rathdrum: 14875 W Hwy 53, Rathdrum, ID 83858

You’ll select your preferred location when placing your order. Birds must be picked up within 3 days of their arrival date, or your order may be forfeited.

Note: If your order includes chicks from both locations, you’ll need to complete a separate checkout for each pickup location. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

❓ FAQ

• What happens if I miss my pickup date? If you’re unable to pick up within 3 days, please contact us immediately to discuss options. Payment may be forfeited if no prior arrangements are made.
• Are chicks vaccinated? Yes! All chicks (excluding meat birds, turkeys, and waterfowl) are vaccinated against Marek’s Disease for a healthy start.
• Can I return or exchange chicks? Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of chicks, all sales are final, and we cannot accept returns or exchanges once they leave our store.
• Will you have straight-run or sexed chicks? We primarily offer sexed pullets (female chicks) with a 90% accuracy guarantee from the hatchery. Straight-run chicks may also be available for select breeds.
